SWIM INFO*
This swim is open to all. HOWEVER to ensure the safety of all members,
swimmers joining the ocean swim should have basic swimming skills and be
able to swim 500 yards unassisted.

As with most group workouts, there will be a variety of abilities/pace. The
entire group will start together, regroup after the break. From there, the
breakout groups will form:

*Beginners Swim
If you are relatively new to open water swimming, this is a perfect group
to be with. Super volunteer, Jim Markwell, will be leading this group.
Exact swim distance will vary depending on group proficiency and swim
conditions, swims will be in the ¼- ¾ mile round trip and will parallel the
beach.

*Advanced Swim
For those comfortable in the water and looking to start the week off with
quality swim mileage, this is the group for you. This group will be
swimming to the ½ mile buoy, ¼ mile buoy, or the cove and back (depending
on swim abilities and conditions).

*GROUP DINNER POST WORKOUT*
Marketplace Grill, Rimel's, Porkyland & Come On In

There is an outdoor dining area (super casual) for the 4 restaurant
options. Prices are affordable and the food is fantastic!

*5.* Take exit *26A* for *W La Jolla Pkwy* 0.7 mi
*6.* Merge onto *La Jolla Pkwy* 1.1 mi
*7.* Continue onto *Torrey Pines Rd* 0.2 mi
*8.* Turn right onto *La Jolla Shores Dr* 0.3 mi
*9.* Turn left onto *Vallecitos*
